Looks like O'bleens will win BP with his TII again this year.

I have to talk to a couple of the guys that were there. I had a friend there in A Prepared and he did not do well. He has won all the southeastern National Tour stops as well as some Pro-Solo events too. He is GOOD. I suspect it was raining and he was running street tires. He times just dont jive. He usually clobbers stock corvettes and he is slower than them. The vettes ran on Tues/Wed he ran on Thurs./ Fri.

Even Steve O'blenes times were slow compared to the stock class cars. B-Prepared seemd to be running at the same time as A-prepared.

Mental note:

If I decide to travel across the country for the Nationals next year bring rain tires.

It was raining all day Thursday, which makes comparing times between classes that ran then and classes that didn't moot...

Steve
I wasn't exactly comparing times I was just trying to figure out what went down. I have not talked to anyone I know yet.

I figured it had to have rained. This guy is good and he really didn't do well in Topeka. He must not have been prepared for rain.

Thanks for the info it makes sense now.

If it rained on Thursday then O'blenes is an amazing driver he ran some fast times even in the wet.

Actually, I should elaborate. It was raining throughout Thursday, but some heats got it a lot worse than others. In the heat that O'Blenes and the rest of B Prepared ran, it had actually stopped raining and was drying nicely... until third runs, when a torrential rainstorm blew in. I thought all of that heat had their third runs canceled, but the results page still shows BP as having run three times on both days. My guess is that they finished up before the rain hit.

All that aside, though, I agree -- O'Blenes is an amazing driver.
