Autox today at Nazareth

I'm taking the cam this time so hopefully I can post some decent pics tonight. I'll probably get taken out by one of the psycho vette drivers when I'm working the course!! These guys have to make up for the # of cones they kill by going ridiculously fast in hopes of getting one good run where they don't get a DNF it seems!
I turned the shock settings up to about 2/3 in the rear and 3/4 in the front stiffness. I'm bringing the air tank to change the tire pressure. I still don't know if its worth having the tires up at 38-40 pounds on this track especially with how tail happy the car seems right now.... not sure what to do. I tried putting 1/2" wheel spacers on the back yesterday but I'm not comfortable with the lugs being on only 5 turns.

Another fun but long day.... I didn't run until last heat which was actually a blessing since I didn't pass tech. I had to tighten the nut that holds in the wheel bearing under the hub cap on both front hubs. What a pain in the *** getting the damn cotter pins in and out....whoever was in there last must have had oversized ones in. Anyway, thank god everyone came to my aid with tools out the *** since I didn't bring much.
As for racing, the weather was around 50 so cars were quick however traction was not too good because the track was cold. Everyone was spinning out. I started with the pressure up at 38 psi front and rear and with high shock settings all around. My car was all over the place with a 61 second run. After lowering the pressure and turning the rear shocks down a notch, I managed 3 low 52 second runs. That was good for 3rd in CSP. The two in front of me were two Miata's running consistent 48-49's. Those things are so smooth!! Excellent autox cars. The fastest run of the day was a 39.8 from some guy in a go cart. This thing was a ****** ROCKET!! It looked so damn dangerous but this guy knew what he was doing.....enough to get a better time than even the two F mod cars running.
I'm getting much better at looking ahead now and trying to smooth out my lines. I can't wait for spring. I'll try to post the whole 3 pics I got tonight. It was just me and some old guy with an FD there for the RX7 tally.

He placed 2nd in Super Stock class. There were 2 2002 vette's and 3 2002 M3's in his class all together.
His car is a bone stock 93 R1 except for the tires and he said he might sell it in the near future. I told him to post it here.
