We had the first Tucson drift event last weekend. We had a good time and I learned that I have ALOT to learn! There was a Pro Photographer and this is a teaser pic that he has posted. Pro drifter Alex Pfieffer is actually driving my car in this shot, but it looks pretty IMO. Anyway, I hope to have some video in the next week or so.

Alex is an awesome guy. I asked for some pointers and he wanted to drive so I hopped in the passenger seat. He talked to me the entire time as he was drifting around cones and such. Very cool! The fact that he was so pumped about my car made my day.

 

is your car the one steve kan tuned and it made 480rwhp ? just wondering if i have the same guy. a few of my friends are in cali right now for the drift thing. if this was a recent drift event my friend tony who had a white T2 might have been there also!

Actually this was an event held in Tucson Az. Alex and Chris Forsberg and a few other loaded up after the DD on saturday and drove ~9hrs to Tucson, got in a 4:30, slept for a few hours and then headed out to the first "Tucson Drift Day" which was basically a bunch a amateurs. They wanted to help out which they did and after all day Sunday they drove back to LA. WOW!



They were going to do a drift school in Phoenix (1hr away) but it sounds like the track that they were going to use just got closed down Still awaiting final word on that.

i am putting together a 240 for drifting. i will have my S5 T2 also but i think the 240 will be doing most of the sliding



i know the event was in AZ. i know chris and tony and all them were going. tell chris to hurry up and get Z going !
