I'm going to relocate the battery in my FC. Wow difficult is this?? What kit should I buy? I'm open to any suggestions. Cheers!

When I relocated mine, I also relocated the starter solenoid to by the egi relay on the driverside inside fender wall. This helps with hot engine cranking, and also makes a great termination point for the new thick *** line. Just jumper the starter solenoid to the power that goes the starter that is (used to be) constant. And use the line that engaged the solenoid, to engage your new reloacted starter solenoid.

Any new ford escort or ford 150 starter solenoid will work fine.

I bought some thick welding cable, a power distributer and a battery box. Took all of about 20 minutes to relotcate it to the back passenger bin.

just my 2 cents: When you buy a battery box, spend the money on a decent one and BOLT IT DOWN. I have seen some crappy relocations that could cause some serious problems. Good luck
