is any of you guys doing this? eliminating the oiling pump and blocking the oil injectors if so what should you mix at? What ratio? any input would be nice

 

1 oz. 2 cycle oil/gallon gas works well for me.

 

so do you just eliminate all the injection junk and just premix.........sounds pritty simple

 

Yup. I plugged up the oil injector holes and had a blockoff plate covering the hole left by removing the oil metering pump.

 

I use Marvel Mystery oil...and it seams like the last 3 times I put gas in my car...it runs like **** when its close to "E"



I used to mixed it like a 2cycle Untill all the dumb ***** said it smokes and my rings are bad...

I dunno what Im gonna do now..

 

If you're still using the stock OMP you should go with about 1 oz. oil/gallon of gas.

 

I have the OMP and I use some premix once a week or so. Just to be on the safe side.

i too hav been premixing. i still hav tho pump working too tho and hav noticed alot of smoke at startup when close to empty. anyone know why this is and if it is actually doing any good, the premixing that is?

 

I've noticed this too.



I premix all the time. Took an engine apart with a bad water seal. The inside of the engine was CLEAN. Barely any carbon build up! I think of it as better safe than blown engine

 

yeah me too. all ive been doin is poring a bottle of castral 2stroke in the tank when i fill up. but i think i oil fouled a plug because it runs like sh** at first. once warmed up tho she goes like hell for an n/a!!
