Need Help In Manifold Design?
#1
Hey all, I am designing an intake manifold for my N/A, hey I need all the power benifits that I can get
I am doing the math to get the proper intake runners, but I have some quesitons abou thow you derive runner diameter and wave tuning.
I have been looking at the 787B intake set-up (no I am not making on anything like that). and I noticed that the extensions were all after the throttle bodies, does this have anything to do with the wave tuning in the manifold or just the so-called "Ram Effect" of the airhorns on the throttle's.
And also on the wave tuning aspect can the intake be tuned very well if it funnels down into one large throttle, or would the be more gains with the giving the runner there own smaller throttle.
These are all the quesitons that I can think of right now, but I am sure that I will come up with more at a later time.
