My front crankcase/cover gasket is starting to go bad...noticing droplets coming from it, and beeding around it. I had it checked by a reputable shop by my house and they agreed it was the front cover gasket, not the omp or anything else. It doesnt seem serious, but im sick of oil drips getting in the garage. How hard is this to replace? Can it be done at home with minimal effort? Just wondering if I want to evan get into it....Any help or adivice would be great! Thanks - Jim

What car is this? In my REPU I would imagine I could do the job in a few hours. In my FD it would probably take a few days.

What model Rx do you have? The level of difficulty will depend on that.

Actually, Either way, It will be a bitch to fix as you will need to remove the front pulley nut.
