How could i make 13BT into 450HP engine
#1
Hi guys just bought a second hand 13BT and have completely rebuild it. I need some help since i dont know a whole lot about Rotary engines, just want to know how i could make this engine into close to 450Hp engine?
My budget is around the 4K-5K mark and if you guys could tell me what mods or changes or a list of parts that i would need for this built. I will be using this as an everyday car but also a track car. Its a series 5 13bt Stock and just had a fresh rebuild with all seals and everything new.
Hope yall can help me out.
-Thanks-
Jay
p.s: if you guys could help me out with one other thing i would like to install this engine into a 1990 E30 BMW 3.20i. Any of you guys done this?? would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction as to what thing i would need to address into putting this engine in.

That will be an interesting swap. I would suggest a set of ALS seals, a complete set of new internals including two new rotor housings. That should do it motor wise...

Why not save that $4000-5000, sell the engine and swap in an m73, s62, n54 or similar output motor? they might not have 450hp stock, but they would be a hell of a lot more reliable. Not to mention they all have more than 320lb/ft of torque.

i thought this was called "no pistons"

Build it like any other motor. Bigger turbo, bigger BOV, intercooler, full exhaust which is most likely the first thing because you need to be able to flow more air, PPort or other kinds of porting if you want to go na.
you can also get a good engine management system and tune it stock for even distribution of power which is very important.
Basically it's just like building a piston engine, but you can't really upgrade the internals
