Hi All,

Is there anything special needed as far as fueling is concerned ona t51r kai at 25 psi.

I currently have an apexi pump on my to4r would I need two fuel pumps ?

Are stock fuel lines ok ? Injectors will be 850cc pri 1600 sec

Will any aftermarket fpr be suitable ? would 106 octan race fuel be ok or would I need something with a higher octane rating?

Any help aprreciated.

A- I don't know if you would need two pumps because I don't know the flow rating for your Apexi.

B- One of my first mods after I decided I wanted more power was to replace the stock lines- At least the lines from the tank to the pump, to the rails.

C- Injectors sound aplenty- have them flowtested or at least cleaned before use.

D- As far as FPR's go I would stick with something reliable (Aeromotive, etc.). I personally use a SARD.

E- As far as octane is concerned, the higher the octane, the less chance of detonation.

Good luck- Keep us posted

You will need new fuel lines, and a bigger pump, or 2 pumps to supply the fuel you will need for 25psi on a T51R Kai. I have a SARD fpr also, the big one, small one couldn't handle 2 walbro pumps worth of flow. I know that the Aeromotive unit is very nice, and waaaay cheaper than the SARD. You may need to run slightly higher static fuel pressure (~50psi) for the injectors to be enough. 106 octane is more than enough with proper tuning.

I never said anything about him blowing it up... I just said thats what he ran..when you build engines with the power his had things are going to go boom sooner or later.

i think he had holley pumps, but he was running the stock FPR and lines with the 1000cc X4 injectors. I guess personally i wouldn't want to build a car to make crazy power if i couldn't do it without blowing up all the damn time.

There was no blowing up "sooner or later". Unless of course you consider blowing up on the dyno during tuning multiple times "sooner or later".
