Fc3s/20b Throttle Body Modification
#1
This is one of the services I provide for FC3S (13B and 20B) owners. I've been modifying throttle bodies for the FC for quite awhile now on the TeamFC3S forum (about a year), but since I'm new to this forum, I thought I'd post some of my work on them. This modification *greatly* improves throttle response, low-range power, and mid-range power with slight gains on the high-end. Especially helpful for larger turbocharged 13B's.

Thats alot of dough for a dremel polished tb, i could do that myself for $.30, I would sooner buy a water injection kit and up the boost past 16 on pump, and smoke your throttle body.
What's this about 'smoking my throttle body'? Are you even familiar with what I do or familiar with the cars I've setup (and what they run)? Your sarcastic reply isn't necessary, friend; I haven't done or said anything to warrant it.
Please post some of the details of your setup including what the car has run down the track. While you're looking, I'll show you some of mine.
-- Done on pump gas, street ported Series 4 motor running 8.5:1 rotors, with standard spark plugs, using a 60-1 HIFI turbo at 15psi of boost, and without any other power adders like nitrous oxide.
-- Street tires, full street trim and pump gas (drove the car to the track like this), running 15psi of boost. Homebuilt.

Alright, I will bust out my ****.
First off, i am 16 years old, let me just get that outta the way, because I know your homebuilt car wasn't home built when you were 16 years old like mine was.
I have a similar setup to you, my car is in the nopistons 'garage'. I don't have any dyno sheets, and i don't have any track times, but then i don't really need to show off, my car beats the people that i want it to beat.
The reason i bashed your tb is because on forced induction applications the turbo will breathe right on past the efficiency range of the intake manifold/tb design, especially a t4 turbo. So it isn't really worth the $150 for the gains that you get. I am sure they are minimal, unless of course you have a before and after dyno showing gains on your t4 powered car. Then my interest would be piqued. I apologize i should have kept my opinions to myself.
