What Are The Newer Si's Rated?

Just wanted to know if anyone knows what the HP Rating is on the newer civic SI's.



I was following one till bout 80 (not sure though, speedo not working) and still a few grand in 3rd left and he was already Nearing top of 4th before I shut down cause of it being Sat. night and cops out heavy as hell.

They are rated at 160 hp@6500 and 132 lb-ft@5000. And by the way, I really wish that they wouldn't advertise those things as having i-VTEC motors since they only have the halfassed versions. I really think Honda screwed the Si this time.

lol reminds me of ... me cause my mom doesn't like to give me the lumina i drove the 7 in the court today and didn't realize untill today just how fast that damn thing is. I almost cried

I'm sorry, but I can't stand hatch-back hondas(crx/si',etc.) Sucks the new Si didn't even get the 160hp engine like the 99-00 Si.. What's the point of calling it a Si if it doesn't even have the Si engine?

ummmm they do have 160hp engines.........the civic type r has 200. it is basically the RSX type S motor in a civic Si. and the type r civics are going to be here next year i think.

the old SIs were 160 and they opnly got 138 on the dyno. hahahaahhahah these are the same way

oh duh .... the new hatches i wanted one of those BAD too.. lol just like i wanna srt4 yea i coulda told you guyz that it had the same k20 engine that the rsx does and jackson racing even made a super charger for it pretty bad *** i sat in one of those when i went to the honda dealer with my mom cause she was interested in getting me a civic that i kinda wanted (but ended up getting my project) but i went into the dealer and sat in the element and the s2ooo which i was alot more satisfied with but they are alot more expensive.
