for a daily driver, you cant beat it. AWD turbo cars make great dart and run through traffic. And stoplight to stoplight racing, its hard to lose. The advantages of AWD i think outweight the downsides to it as well. But to each his own.

the EVO should be quicker than the present WRX...

but the 2004 WRX's (especially the STI) should be a faster car...

I belive the STi's coming with 300hp and 300 torque.. the EVO doesn't beat that.. but maybe it'll have the STi beat in some other category..

Honestly, I believe the STi is going to have the EVO beat.

Mike's car has a bit more suspension mods, but we both have similar street tires. I had more exit power, but top end, it was a dead heat. We really didnt get a chance to really go at it, too much slower traffic. The only time i got open it up, Mike ran out of gas and had to pit. I ended up passing everybody except a silver GTI that wouldnt let me by. I kinda chuckle about all the guys that immediately dump 2-3k into suspension mods for the wrx, never knowing how they handle right out the box.
