I was driving down towards the landing, in St. Louis, when this old 5.0 came up along side me and started gassing it. We managed to get a stop light and I pulled up next to him and checked his car over. It had a rough spray bomb job, but the car sounded mean, so I was having second thoughts about racing him. I focused my eyes on the light and when it turned green I nailed it. I looked back and he was at least 3 car lengths behind me. I slowed down a little for him to catch up and we got on 70W towards Kansas City. Right as we get on the highway, my buddy says, "dude is he even hittin it". I had four people in my car, and not a single one of us could tell that this guy had his gas pedal burried to the floor. We decided to take the next exit at grand, and we pulled over at a gas station to talk to this guy. Of course, he starts braggin about all these mods he has, and how he was just letting me win. So I ask him to pop the hood, and I found just what I thought I would. It was a 5.0, just bone stock, and covered in oil. That didnt really count as a kill, I just thought it was funny.

Ya, but I used to own an 88 FC, and I found a cheap Cosmo in Hemmings that I should be getting as soon as payday rolls around. So, that still qualifies me as a rotary dude. How hard would it be to put a rotary in my lude. Damn, Id probably have to switch it to Rwd. That'd be sweet.

But if I dropped a rotary in it, what engine would you recomend? I would also have to use the Rx-7's tranny also, right?

typical mustang, lotta noise but nothing to back it up.

I swear mustangs are designed by parents for their kids to drive, to make sure they don't hurt themselves in a fast car, but get the whole "fast car" (loud and torqey) expereience. What a joke.

I had a guy in a brand spankin new V6 mustank, I mean, mustang, try to race me and It was pointless. I would have been better off racing a toddler on one of those trikes. The mustang wouldnt be a bad car If Ford realized that with a little work, it could kick ***. But Ford, I guess, is content with its designs, since it no longer has a camaro and a firebird to compete with for sales.

Ahhh you dont need boost, all I've got in the lude right now is a clutch masters FX400 (stage 4) clutch kit, a clutch masters aluminum flywheel, a neuspeed short throw shifter, an AEM cold air intake, STR throttle body, BBK High Volume fuel pump, AEM high flow rail, AEM Fuel Press. Reg., Accel fuel injectors, Accel Ignition, Nology hotwires, NGK Iridium plugs, Venom Intake Manifold, Arias Pistons, Fluidyne Radiator, unorthodox racing pulleys, airmass headers, custom exaust- no cat- with a carbon wrapped muffler thats about it. And I still beat V-8's. Of course I've spent entirely way to much money on this car.
