Replaced by the new MazdaSpeed Protege', turbo charged now, 170 hp, didnt get such a great write up, which is dissapointing because I would have ended up buying one, only available in 2 colors, some shitty orange, and black. The thing they say is so bad is the torque steer, which if you never drive a front wheel drive car with some *****, its not so fun, so much so they say dont hit the gas unless you have some room next to you! I have this Infinity rental, the torque steer is horrid, you could easily lose control of the car under heavy acceleration. Also the interior isnt AS nice as the MP3's was. Good news is Callaway did the turbo- thats right, a tuner known for Corvettes and american cars did the tuning for this car.... go figure!

I like the price, the look, and the ergonomics (fits like a glove).

I don't like the weak engine or the FWD.

170hp in a protege may not be too bad. I am used to Torque steer. Our eclipse has it pretty bad.. not hard to control just have to get used to it....
