I'd get the BMW X5 4.8i.

I have seen it in person and it was a complete disappointment. It looks nice in pictures but looks too much like the x3 in person. I seriously thought that is was the x3 until I saw the new badging. Sorry!

The guy that owns the junkyard next to my job (auto parts store) just bought one of these. The used auto parts business must be a gold mine, hehe. I would get one also if I had the money. In black, of course.,,,,BB

Neither, they are both ugly. Look like mini vans on steriods to me. Not a huge fan of the X5 styling either although it's a little better than the other two.

Obviously I'm not into SUV's. If I needed something more utiliatarian, I'd be looking at Vovlo wagons. The M5 wagon coming out in 08 would be fun, but too Bangle in the style

Of course I have to put my plug in for the new 2007 Acura MDX. That thing is the Bad Boy.

But if I had to pick one of the two I'd take the ML. Prefferably in the ML63 AMG version.

Changed my mind, a woman's perogative of course, after watching some of the Dakar Rally. However, neither of your options are competing.

I'm liking the Toureg's and the X3 looks pretty good out there too.
