89 Gtus track ready/ road worthy 4sale
#1
Yes I am considering selling my sweet but loud ride.
Short story is I will be with a different brand of car manufacturer so I tend to drive what I sell and represent. I am going to miss this car as it is just about finally sorted out.
Short list of goodies and tricks..
Ground Control camber plates
Tokico illumina's and eibach springs (forget the # rating)
Rtek Computer Mod, still wanting more fine tuning. (Carefully) Very Nice.. one benifit is daily MPG is better, already with rough SWAG tuning! (Scientific Wild *** Guess)
fully prepped 'stock' motor built by Dan Atkins for me specifically (For ITS in SCCA) built with new housings and 3mm apex seals (in case I supercharged it later.) Dynamically balanced will rev to 9 k all the time and loves it. expecially with the new rev limit from the Rtek and fuel Management.
CSI over sized radiator and electric fan.
6 Wedsport 15X7" rims less than 11lbs each, 4 have Kuhmo 710's mounted, VERY sticky.
4 convertible BBS 15X 6.5 with Yokohama A048's as my race rains, also very sticky.
4 stock 16" GTus rims with Goodyear Response edge for daily driving and fine for road play but not so sticky at AutoX (there were witnesses to the cone murders.)
Racetech 4000w seat and 5 point harness
Customised Cage
tow hitch to haul tires and gear.
Lots more..
Way over $20k invested, (Most at Wholesale prices) has only done a partial season of time trials, but I did smack a traffic barrel hard so a little sheet metal tweaked on right door and fender. Also right rocker is messed and pinch welds bent from beforew
This car is ready to go has an annual tech from SCCA. turn key and fast.
Lots of OEM interior pieces and 2 sets of stock seats (they're pretty rough tho) if you want to take it back to stock interior
If you want to race; save money and time and buy a car ready, reliable and already proving competitive in a rookie's hands. Imagine the results with experience and finer tuning!
Not really interested in less than $15k, I'll keep driving it and racing till the right buyer comes along. Will be advertising in the race mags soon. Might let the partially finished teardrop trailer go with it. (My hippie Hotel and car parts/tires shed.)
There is a possibility of considering a partial trade.

I'm gonna go in the corner and cry now....
