1987 Mazda RX-7 TurboII Project - Seattle

1987 MazdaRX-7 TurboII
Named as one of Car and Driver magazine's "10 Best Cars." for 1987.
This TII will make a nice car with some work. I think it's definitely bring-back-able. It's pretty straight, nothing big, stock and everything is there except the engine, i.e. tranny back. The interior isn't that bad to boot.
I haven't done much with it in the year or so I've had it. My eyes are always bigger than my belly. I was going to build an engine and put it in but my lazy butt just hasn't got around to it. I hate to see it sit so I thought I'd throw it out there and see if it gets any bites.
Basic info. & the good things about the car:
-146k miles showing on odometer.
-07/86; JM1FC332H... (real TII)
-Aluminum hood that's straight.
-Extra drivers door.
-Manual steering rack.
-With a good engine, some light bodywork, paint and you'll have a nice TII
The following are the things that are wrong with it:
-missing R FTP lens
-right rear qtr panel lower crinkle
-right door weird outward dents
-paint's bad; deep random scratches all over, faded hood & top, sunroof faded & black
-left rear qtr panel small dents
-left door small dents around handle
-the engine wiring harness is slightly melted (injector wiring mostly) not that bad overall really.
-drivers window switch a mess.
$800 OBO (cash) - I think this is a fair price considering it's a real TII with potential. Also the fact that in a couple of years you won't have to worry about emissions and can go hog wild with power upgrades.
I never transfered the title, but it's signed off by the prev. owner and good to go. I also have a ton of extra parts lying around that could be thrown in also if the price is right. Including good engine hard parts, turbo, manifolds etc..
Please leave your phone number and a good time to call in your email.
NO PARTS - It's going whole so please refrain from asking for parts off of it. Thanks.
Thanks for looking, Cheers
