Ok two problems. they might be connected... I was driving down the road and started to hear banging. Looked down I was going 0 miles an hour. so i pulled over.. looked at it and saw it was the cable to the tranny for the speedometer.. i then drove two more block because i was almost at work at that point Plus we have a jack here. I jacked up the car screwed the speedometer back in but i knew there had to be a peice missing because first of all there was too much open space inside and i didnt think it was going to mate up anyways... so the question is if my speedo cable fell off is there a high chance the other peice inside would fall out also???

Second Problem is that my power steering is easy at first like when i start my car. then later it gets really hard to turn. but if i shut the car off and restart its easy to turn the wheel agian.. is it a sensor problem? I think its speed related to the computer of the power steering unit. However its been doing that for a long time anyways before my cable was an issue.. anyone know how to deal with this computerized power steering? thanks for any info you might have!
