ok heres the deal,
I , We were a big part of getting this club motivated when we got here, because honestly the INWR did not have a lot going on before we got here. It took a lot of meeting people face to face and getting personal with people to get them more motivated in the club scene. It took a lot of my personal time and $ to get things on the right track, as far as BBQ's, Meets, etc. took a lot of time to get people motivated, but now theres not enough effort involved to get this rotary club going. Its a heartless, non rewarding job with no pay backs.
So, at this point Im at my ends wits not knowing what to do on how to get it remotivated with all the things that have gone on in the past 6 months.
And on another note I am willing to be a part of this club as long as theres some changes made.
Heres an example: ABF 2006 people's said that they would help organize this whole event from our club, and as it played out, one person made probably 4 calls to the same sponsor, and another member said he called a few sponsors. Suddenly!!!! nobody wanted to put in any effort on getting this thing going"ABF".
Endless Endless hours missing lunch hour at work, in the mornings before I went to work, and after work, and in the evenings sending countless emails, making logos, webpage, keeping track of sponsors, recieving funds and making sure they were sent to the right places, keeping track of the attendees, and keeping track of packages , hotel, cheveron, dyno, dinner, lunch, classis chassy, grand parade, chief of police, hotel, and arranging things to make it a go and etc much more, with not much help either from RPNW or INWR members, and I might add painting 4 cars while working on all of this. Im fuckn burnt, Im burnt out on the whole club situation. You gotta admitt this is a lot work for 2 people. Besides all that
Just before ABF I sent Brad Burger the program logos and info for the sponsors. Brad neglected to not add some of the ads that the "new"sponsors wanted on the program guide, though brad flipped out when Neil from Pinnacle mazda was legit in wanting to know where his ad was as a few others did also. So who got reamed? I did at ABF. Did Brad come through with his mistake, NO he passed it off onto me. I did try to rectify it by making an insert, but honestly I dont blame some of the sponsors. Again sorry Neil you deserved much more.
The extra money that was made was to be split among the clubs that helped....I didnt see that happen. I got nothing but complants from people for like 3 months after ABF, not to mention all the people that were whining and bitching cause it was too fast pace for them.
Maybe people on the West side might want to give Mr. Kettlman a call and tell him how much they appreciate him, cause its a hell of a lot of work to make things happen. And to add to when I lived there most of the events were done by Kettlman and myself as far as BBQ, pokers runs and drives etc. Now it sucks that I live so far away that I cant help him. I feel for him, cause I know what he is going through. I do admit people on the West side have much much more motivation that you spoklahomains do here.
So I will show up to the next meeting if you could have Richard Strange and Brian Miller come also. Now lets see if we can make this a club effort.
Peace

Thats a big hell ya from me dave. When I said that there were people that started this bitch back in the day i ment you and D, and Brian and some others that i didn't know. I honestly miss the way this club was a year ago. I think you clearly stated what needed to be said. I miss the old gang all yall are the life blood of this club I;m just a young pup with a lot of energy unfortunatly i got no where to channel it. I can help with anything I;m just new at this whole club thing and your right it is hard. Since taking the VP position iI have found how difficult it is. I admire your strenght to do it for so long I have only been doing this for like 4 monthe or so and it is kickin my *** going to people's houses and haveing them say they don't wanna come or whatever. So I guess I just really want to say how lucky I am to have you as a friend and someone to look up to while trying to bring some life back to this club you and D are the best and i really miss seeing you around.
