I need ASAP the platic fill neck that the radiator cap attaches to the thermostat housing. You know, the retarded plastic piece that Mazda in its infinite wisdom thought it would be a good idea to attach a metal radiator cap to a metal thermostat housing using a plastic neck. Well if anyone has it let me know as I am needing one before I make the trip to Wenatchee.

get back to me asap before I go ahead with my new plan to hack off the thermostat housing right before where the cap would go and instead order one of these from my parts store (free overnight shipping baby!)

I am going ahead with the new plan. Hacking off the thermostat housing just before where the plast cap attaches and I am clamping in an inline radiator filler. Cheaper in the end, more reliable, and unique. I get the part this afternoon so I will let you all know how it goes.

slight change of plan... Decided to make a block off for the old radiator cap neck and then installed the in-line radiator filler. Started her up and got her at operating temperature and no leaks whatsoever. I am pleased with that. Now I just got to let it cool down and top it off to get any air out off the system. When it is finished bleeding then the damn buzzer will stop going off.
