best rebuild company NW?
#1
Hi guys, I know that is kind of hit and miss, but if going cheap isnt the issue, what is the best rebuild company in the NW?
I know is going to be opinions but thats what Im looking for. So far I have read now to go to atkins (glad I read that was about to)
But as of right now I think might be stuck going to pineapple? Is there anything bad about them? Do they honor their warrantees?
Any places in the northwest that have s4s instock already ported ready for me to buy? Looking for s4 n/a with some mean porting if I can.
But anyways, I coudlnt find a post in the northwest section that had people sayind what they think is the best.
Im trying to do research on something like "cork sport" but im having a big of issue finding info on them. Maybe I have the words wrong.
Anyways let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I would go to Corksport or Pineapple.....
I would stay away from Atkins only because of all the past problems they have had with some of their rebuilds, and the fact that the warrantee they give doesnt exsist, or has too many clauses that they suddenly add. Mikey from Atkins rebuild my motor, and it seems to be holding up strong so far.

I have had 1st Stop Import Performance do work on my car and I am having them rebuild the engine in the 90 I just bought. It is my understanding the family has been working on rotaries for 30+ years. They went through my 87 with a fine tooth comb and gave me a list of everything that needed to be fixed and prioritized it for me. They even came to my house and picked up my car and delivered it when it was finished.
They are located in Auburn and the number is 253-735-9590.

Pineapple is great, and will be expensive. They use few used parts and the best of everything so the engine is just right. The reason that there is a 6 to 8 week wait, is becuase they have such a long waiting list. They have a waiting list is becuase they are Nationally know. No one else around here will have a waiting list on an engine. No one else around here is like Pineapple.
