I had to take my kitty to the vet (emergency!) in this crap on Z rated SUMMER tires. It wasn't fun but we made it. He's doing -ok- now, but IMO, not 100% out of the woods.

Yeah he's the best cat ever... very laid back and knows when I'm sick or depressed and sits with me and purrs.

He's almost 20 now and he had some crazyness with his blood glucose levels the other day. He's had diabetes for the last 5-6 years but I had it under control by giving him 5 units of insulin per day. Suddenly though, his body FIXED ITSELF and he was making most of what he needed all of a sudden by himself!

This sounds good but it's actually not. Because I was still sticking him with the 5 units of insulin, his blood glucose dropped to the point where he almost died. I took him off the insulin and now we're trying to get it all fixed up with around 1 unit per day. Hopefully he can get a few more months of good life before he has to go to kitty cat heaven :~(
