Warning! This post has Pistons!

Well, since the RX-Midget is being painted, this is the work I have been doing for my friend Mark. This the turbo setup for his LS-1 powered Ultima CAN-AM kit car. I am designing the whole exhaust system and doing all the fab work for it. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same to the RX-Midget some day....

Here are some progress pics of the Y-pipe and wastegate plumbing that I made this weekend. I think the blue pool tubing will work fine. Right?

I have talked to Mark a few times about this car and he said you were doing the exhaust. That car is going to be INCREDIBLE!! Your work looks great.

That may be my next project car. The Ultima is so badass

You should stop by some time. I will be there all day/night Friday and Mark and I will be there for a while on Sat.

Intercooler will be in the side pod. It is the open area on the far side of the motor in the pic. We will be doing some "wind tunnel" testing this week to make sure it is a good location and to find some other high pressure areas for cold air intake and trans cooling.

Brian, I'm gonna have to get you to help me out with the repu truck this summer sometime. At least with the exhaust anyway. You have all the saws and welders at your place? I was up that way today btw. Mount Airy anyhow.
