anyone going this year? May 14th at M&T Bank (Ravens) stadium.
pretty good lineup this year, Foo Fighters and They Might Be Giants being the ones I'm really looking forward to.
Foo Fighters
They Might Be Giants
Billy Idol
Sum 41
Social Distortion
Garbage
Good Charlotte
Coldplay
The Bravery
Citizen Cope
Jimmies Chicken Shack
New York Dolls
Unwritten Law
Louis XIV

My wife and I will be hanging out on the club level, if anyone wants to hang out, have a few beers and alienate my wife with some car talk, shoot me a PM...

LOL, i didn't even know HFS was still around. I might go. TMBG are good. I have seen them at 9:30 club a few times and they played HFStival 1992.
Is it going to be at the RFK still? I can't imagine they still have the audiance to support that large of a venue now.

It's at M&T Bank (aka Ravens) stadium in Baltimore, much nicer place than RFK if you ask me. I went to the one they had there a few years ago and it was way better than RFK. Plus you have the option of being on the club level for an extra $25...
Last year's was somewhere around 60,000 people, there are pics on my website, gives you an idea of the size of the crowd, those were at RFK
The one thing that might hurt them this year is that on 105.7, which is located near Baltimore, they don't really have the DC/NoVa coverage that they used to have. I wouldn't be surprised if you can't hear the station down where you live Dave. They get a little advertising coverage on WJFK, but the taget audience for WJFK isn't really the same for the HFS'tival, maybe Junkies listeners, but that's about it...
in any case it's a decent time to hang out, have a few beers, watch idiots and listen to some decent music while doing it
