I have a job interview in DC on Friday. If all goes well I'll be moving out there in a month.



So, the question is...the DC area, thumbs up or thumbs down? I hear it's great for single guys. I'll be testing the waters while I'm there.

Yup, lots of young,hot single girlies in DC. Lots of clubs and resteraunts. There are not alot of out door activities in DC itself aside from walking.Lots of places to walk to.. Yaa! I hear that complaint alot from west coasters. Georgetown is played out. Way to many Euro trash wannabees but its good every once in a while. Lots of good music venues. Black Cat , owned by Dave Grohl is on 16th st. 9:30 club is on Vstreet. Nations is off South Capitol. Lots of tittie bars. Good Guys and Nexus gold club I hear are the best ones. The roads are pretty lame in DC. But for a large city it has alot of woods. There are more museums than you will ever want to visit. There is one Improv comedy club. Lots of small theaters if you are into plays and what not. Summers are HOT! Talking 98 with 100% humidity.

But if your single and lilve in DC there is plenty of strange to keep you occupied for the rest of your life.

Wait till you see how many people smoke here...

I'd like to meet some women and check out the museums. I already have a date for Saturday! I smoke (cigarettes and cigars), are there alot of people that smoke in DC? I'm from Philadelphia originally, the weather is about the same.

Ok well your form Philly so you know the routine. I assumed that you were from the Left coast.Most of them are health nuts and dont smoke. I actually just quit last summer myself.

Yes there are alot of smokers in DC.

anyway, take the job then you can come to the Maryland BBQ this year and meet the NE gang.

Its probably better then Colorado but it could be better. MD is a communist state.

 

You can swing by PFS we are 45 minutes from D.C. As boost said there are plenty of holes to be drilled here .

Well, I made it here in one piece. So far so good, the interview went well. Me and my friend went down to the tittie bar for happy hour after the interview. I don't know the name of it the place but they have a good steaks and some decent women dancing on poles, good combo. So far I like the DC area, traffic is hectic but it's just like any other city I suppose. Thanks for the replys, I'll give a full report when I get back home.

The Mad Hatter next to that place gets busy on Thursday nights.

I figured out the name of the tittie bar we went to, Crystal City Restuarant. Tonight I went to the Hustler Club on the block. That place is bangin', sweet!
