Autox / Meet / Dinner?
#1
I've been trying to find some local FC/FD owners lately. I know quite a few of you from NJ, NYC, and in the east (CT/Mass).
An SCCA/Solo2 AutoX takes place literally accross the street from my home, at a small local Airport (Orange County Airport).
If anyone is interested, we could kill 2-3 birds with one stone here: 1. Meet other local owners, 2. AutoX our cars 3. Eat
It's just an idea, and the AutoX track and event is usually quite small, so I can't promise much excitement as far as anyone that wants to travel just to meet up.
The first AutoX event for this season is April 17th, a sunday, a month from today.
Anyone here from Orange, Ulster, Rockland counties? If you aren't far from Orange county it may be worth your while to all meet up and the AutoX gives us something to do/see.
I have AIM: EfiniVII or TigerDBR (Depending if I am at work or home :P) and email: tigerdbr@excite.com.

These run once a month, with the Poughkeepsie Club. I went religiously last year, watching. Hoping to gain confidence to racing this year. I really want my car paid off though, plus the fact that if you go nuts and fall off track, you end up in the grass, if you make it passed the big airport laneway lights that will easily take out a whole panel of your car,...and cost you $200 to replace to boot.
I'm pretty sure I'd be able to control my car though, just overconfidence could kill my FD lol.
