hey im just getting into the rx7 stuff i live in ohio and i had a couple 240's and i want to move to some other cars

i also looking for some advice

my friend has a 87 tII and it has a rebuiilt motor that has 3500 miles of break in, he upgraded the turbo and it has 78,000 miles on the chassis and a few odds and ends he is selling it for 4000 and he said it could put out 400rwhp with a good tune.

now my question is is this a good deal? and what is the best way to tune it? meaning haltec, safc, e-manage ect...

 

400whp sounds like a alot for basic rebuild n turbo.



What type of rebuild did he have done to the motor? Also what type of turbo is he running?



Mods list plz?

 

a bit more info on what comes with the purchase would help...
