I am looking to buy a good running FC here in DFW. Thats Texas ya'll

Anyways I am going to look at a 86 GXL i think. The interior looks good, paint is faded the guy says it runs great once it is started. He said he replaced most of the fuel injection system. He said that it floods when it sits because he needs a "fuel pressure blow off valve" or release valve. Anyone know about this?

In general what should I look for when I go to see this car? What are the trouble spots?

OK I bought the car, 1,200 bucks. It is an 86 GXL he fixed the flooding problem so thats not an issue now. My issue now is the 3800 rpm hesitation. It has new injectors and fuel rails. The block is grounded in 2 places. The guy I bought it from thinks it is the Cat what do you guys think? TPS? FCD?

Ok I did the test light adjustment, and it worked perfectly, so far no hesitation at all!!
