Hey does any body out there know of any cheap but legal places to drift or road race around the midwest, Im from Illinois and I havent found anything yet, the Closest thing we have that i've found thats legal is Gateway, but thats just a dragstrip, and its closed during the winter anyway. And the only illegal spots I know of are in St.Louis, and I only know of one Hall Street but thats also drag racing. maybe somebody from around my neck of the woods can hook me up with some legal and illegal places. Thanks!!

 

I'd try and find a friend with a really big driveway! Also check the regional forums for Illinois area.



And btw, Yoda can't drive, he never renewed his lisence.

Look up the Porsche BMW club of america or S.A.F.E. or N.A.S.A. They are all oriented towards beginners with driving schools/ instructors to help you get going.

 

Yoda went with Luke the other day up to the DMV he got it renewed finally, i honestly don't know how He's like what 900. You know, we really could start a MIDWEST DRIVEWAY RALLY or something like that !!! And to Jims5543 thanks for the info, I got the Montgomery GI Bill and the VA Grant from the military so that should help pay for the driving schools.
