well just started getting interested realy. i purchase a 73 ford pinto 2dr wagon for 96 bucks. yup $96. it had been sitting at a run down shop that went out of business almost 20 years ago. they had an suction so i got it to make a good light drag car. whats funny is it looks like it got a new motor and someone didnt pay so they kept it. i got it home. the next weekend i put oil tranny fluid and drained the gas and put fresh gas in it and it started right up. but this is the deal now. i planned on a vortech blow through carb chevy 4.3 with a set of bowtie heads. wanted around 500hp out of it. but ive been looking at alot of rotary stuff and its actualy about the same for what it would cost me to do this set up. does anyone know who i need to go to and where to find good stuff to get a 13bt or tt in the 450 hp range and it be somewhat reliable? im a dare to be different kind of guy and where i am at bout the only import youll ever see at the strip is a pit bike or fourwheeler. only a couple suzuki bikes even race. just a muscle car dominated place. want something mean and different. so please if anyone can share some info id be thankful.
