Default De-Noobing

Hello all,

I have a '86 NA I bought for track day duty about 3 months ago. Since then I've been to one track event, where it blew both front struts on the first day and an apex seal on the drive home. Since then, I've replaced the engine and any other suspicious looking bits, and I'm working on getting it to start again (there will be a tech post about that shortly).

Mod list:

Came with the car:
Roll Cage
Giant sway bars (racing beat?)
header
EGR/smog removal
Hawk Blue pads
Khum Ecsta V700 tires on Ford Probe wheels
Cylindrical doodad near the right headlight hooked up to an rpm switch and a vacuum hose to an EGR passage in the intake. No idea what it is-the RPM switch was disconnected when I bought the car

My mods:
S5 engine and intake
premix conversion
full vacuum rack and emissions removal
lightweight flywheel
y-pipe (old one was cracking)
stiff mazda motor mounts
Turbo II front struts (created huge positive camber, but good enough to finish the track day)

in progress:
Electronic VDI and Aux port acutuators
getting the engine running

To do:
fix the struts
Camber plates
seat

officially de-noobed, from reading it seems like you were a noob way long ago before posting, congrats though.
