boosting a dead battery and anti theft.

when i hook up cables to my dead battery the anti theft goes off....i pulled the battery and have it on a trickle charge...when i hook it back up is it going to go off again.if so how can i shut it off? help anyone?

Might be a fuse somewhere. What year is it?

Oh, an rx8! Lol. Most newr cars you can turn of the alarm simply by starting the car and it won't do it again. Some, however, require dealer provided codes. I've personally seen this on gm's with certain stereos. If the battery is unhooked or dead for awhile the stereo will not come on at all. You have to press a button sequence then enter a mimetic code the dealer gives you. If none of that works let me know before lunch tomorrow and I'll look it up on mitchel
