you beat a WRX off the line?

how the hell did your pretty much stock RWD t2 beat a rather powerful AWD WRX off the line? did your friend launch or roll off the line?

oh and we're not very mean here, you get the wrong erception, we're all just very skeptical as we've had a run-in with one too many "exaggerating how good my car is" people on this forum and most of us dont like that lol.

and in my personal opinion street races (it wasnt a real street race but more like a high speed run) cant really prove abilities of one car verse another, those type of races it's all about the driver deciding what gear to start (since you were from a roll) and how well he shifts. in like on course drag events there's a lot of emphasis on drive rbut also on the car because you both start at the same exact point in the same exact gear etc.

i guess its hard to explain lol, but the fastest car will always be the one with the best driver when the cars are within somewhat close proximity performance wise.

oh and i checked real quick and the carrera seems to be around this in the 1/4:

13.4 @ 105mph

thats what most are close too (i hate the fact thats there's no way to make all tests equal, but that falls into the driver thing again lol)

well, he bought my freind tavis's old t11, ive rode in it before, its a verry quick car, ive also rode in a lancer evo8, and im also sure teknics knows how to drive his car well, so i dont think a lancer would have been too much of a problem for him.

but 8psi and a exhaust?..come on...that isn't 13s...let alone low 14s to beat the wrx..no matter how good the driving is u can't drive it past the potential
