A while back me and my (then) girlfriend were headed to the movies when we came across some guy in his early 20's with his girl in a 300Z at a stoplight. He gives me a rev and on green we go!



we were dead even. I could swear we even shifted at the same points, it was awesome! I signaled him to pull over in the next parking lot and he did. we conversed a little bit and decided that they'd join us for the night.



So we hit the highway and we were HAULIN! not really racing, just playing around since there was no traffic. anyways, we passed a green riced out civic hatchback and a white (not so riced out) acura integra. who tried to keep up (but couldnt) so we slowed down and messed around with them for a bit, when we were convinced they couldnt keep up we left them in the dust. (without even trying)



So we get to the movies and we're early as ........ well we were early, so we're hanging around our respective cars and BS'n about mods we want and blah blah blah, for a while till its time to go in. as we're walking down the parking lot I hear a loud voice yell "Hey check it out! Its the guys from the highway!" then they asked who won, and we explained that we werent really racing (just playing around), then I spent the rest of the night explaining what a rotary was and how it worked as they all looked on in awe.



we never did see the movie...

 

That's an awesome opportunity, I wish that happened to me more often...instead of all the N/A Supras I see with the owners driving them like they're TTs.
