Ricer Get Dusted Then Drools

I was surfing tonight and came on this interesting little tid bit. I came to realize that ricers do show some respect to the rotary. Real funny and sure did bring a smile to my face. Here is an extract from the kill story.
"Cruising around the freeways in the R after dinner tonite, just enjoying another warm evening in Socal, I decided I was gonna go get some ice cream with the gf. Then suddenly I see a car approaching pretty quickly, so I move a lane over to let him pass. He comes right up next to my door and blows off. This was no ordinary blow off valve, it seriously sounded like a fart from satan himself. It was ******* LOUD! I look over to find a very sinister looking black FC with fender flares, deep dish wheels (looked like Kinesis or Fikses) and dark tinted windows. The car also had a large single canister exhaust that sounded pretty nice. But it didn't sound like the typical rotary engine. It sounded smoother for some reason. I could not see the driver since his windows were so dark. But he just paced me for a few seconds as if waiting for me to make the first move, which I did.
I had some 100 octane race gas left in the tank, so I set the boost controller to 14.7PSI and floored it. I was pulling away for a brief second, then this guy shoots past me like I was a stock Civic DX. He literally pulled about 10 cars on me. I could not catch up. And his car was afterfiring like crazy. Big orange fireballs were coming out from his exhaust. That car was pretty insane. It pulled like a Hayabusa. Anyways, he slows down and lets me catch up, then motioned for me to follow him to the next exit.
We get off the freeway and pull into an Exxon gas station and chat for a bit. He was a white guy in his late 30's. He told me that's his weekend track car. I asked him what he had done to it, and he pops the hood so I could see for myself. This guy had a ******* 20B Cosmo 3-rotor engine with jumbo street ports swapped into his car boosted by a T04B turbo. No wonder it was fast. That thing prolly had over 500WHP easily. It was definately a clean ride too. He had a cage inside, two Sparco seats, harnesses, a full set of gauges. Best part is, this car was setup to go fast around a road course not drag race or freeway battle. It definately made me respect the old Turbo II's. I didn't feel bad losing to that car, just makes you realize there's always someone fastAr!"

Bad ***... And he's not the only one. Apparently all of those guys over there are respecting us since this encounter. There are a lot of posters saying "Damn, not only are those rotaries fast, but they look good too!"
Nice... Finally the respect they won't give us to our faces. lol

I'm not even done with my 7 yet and some of the honda owners that wanted to race don't want any part of me now when its done..I hope that they forget about my project between now and when its done so I can clean some clocks. I still get this guy in an auto firechicken that wants to race me.. I love it when they give respect to something other than a hon-duah espacally when they could afford to get an fc.
