theres a guy who's always been talkign bad about rotary engines, and he wants to run once my tranny is back up and running propperly. anyway, his car, a b16a engine, 95 civic hatch, full interior, just i b16a and intake and exhaust.



me, stripped gsl-se, 2.5 racing beat full exhaust, no cats, and some suspension mods.



anyone have any idea what the outcome could be? he's wanting to bet 20 bucks he can smoke me, and i dont really want to lose 20 bucks i just wanna run him for fun, and to shut him up about rotary engines.

 

ill race him once my struts and idler arm get here. oh, and my shifter bushings

I'd go ahead and race him, bet the 20. I raced a guy in a Civic HB back when I had a Neon. I beat him in a neon, and his car had quite a few mods. You should have no problem. In fact I'd raise the bet to 50.

 

you really should have no problem beating him.

 

The next time you see this guy, tell him "Yeah I'll race you, not for 20, how's $50 sound, and see what he does. If he's still in on it, look at it on the brightside, you'll have 50 bucks.

 

i've seen some fast b16's, but they've been a lot more extensivly modded than intake and exhaust.

how much N2O is he gonna be using? That seems to be the favorite mod by them around here.
