A kid driving a new EVO showed up at the last night and starts talking ****. I had no interest in racing anyone cause i got a bad clutch and fuel cut inducing overboost problem. Aparently somebody set somethin up cause after gettin' kicked out by the cops for the last time, I was almost ready to head home when this kid gets up behind me and hops on the same on ramp. Once on the highway he gets up next to me and i decide to have a little fun. Well, that was a mistake...he left me there hitting fuel cut and a non-clamping clutch. I fell asleep in 3rd going too slow....fine I lost that one, BAD!

We lined up again and this time going a bit faster so 3rd gear was right and the clutch must have clamped better cause this time i held him a bay.

It was fun but I totally fucked up on this one....My boy on the other hand spanked the EVO up and down, I'll let him post his own story.

After race resolution= raise boost and upgrade clutch!!

 

Yeah it was fun last night, we didn't plan on racing but hey I'm not gonna back down from no kid in a 2003 EVO 8. I was behind him when Manny ran him the 1st time and honestly I could of pushed him out of the way. So after he ran Manny he must of thought well I take 2 FD's down, so I slowed down to about 60mph and we both lined up my brother was with me and he said the word. I stepped on it so hard I thought I hit my front bumper, I immediately jumped 2 cars on him and pulled 5-7cars within 3 seconds and kept pulling he tryed to draft me but I was too far ahead of him. I seen a turn coming and traffic so I let off, by the way a friend of mine was playing catch up in his 2003 V6 6spd Accord. So the kid wanted to go at it again, this time I really put it on him , we did a roll on from 2nd and all I felt was my car sqwat and go. I hit about 150mph and left him in a ball of flames, which I didn't know my car let out flames between every shift. He was cool about it , but he was rudely awaken and talked about what he was going to buy to get it in the 12s. Manny will wip his *** once the clutch is in.

 

Thats some Good story. You guys shoulda of heard how alex sounded on the two-way radio last night man he was ******* estatic. Yo seriouly i would be too, driving ******* 150mph + man that is some real hot ****. I know manny woulda taken him too, but his car wasnt ready man so that aint his fault if the guy was looking for trouble. So alex atleast whipped his *** good **** that its a rotary man u dont **** with that. I want to see some FD run a Subaru WRX STI. IS that a race or wat My car woulda been seeing little red lights taking corners at 120mph + . But dam 150 aint that **** kinda scary now?? YO alex i need a ride in that FD. It will be my first ride in a FD lol

technically manny didnt loose cause he wasnt really racing in the first place he was kinda forced into a one sided agreement so its a technicality

My mods are K&n's, dp,mp,cb, 1300cc secondary's, Greddy fmic, Koyo rad, supra TT fuel pump, RB flywheel, CF df clutch, B&M s.s., PFC w/commander. Set for .80 and .90, but when I raced him I only hit .87

 

Sounds good. Have you ever dynoed or went to the strip? Did the Evo have any mods, or was it stock?

 

I never dynoed yet, I will in July. The EVO was stock, i give it props cause it is fast. Low 13s stock ain't bad at all, I told him when he gets his mods we can do it again, but those mods are going to have to make up at least 7 cars..
