kills, wow, I've got lots of kills and I've had my share of deaths myself...some of my more prized wins would be a 99 mustang gt, we were sitting at a light and I wasn't expecting him to race, but I have a habit of revving my engine anyways... so the light goes green and he stomps on it, I wasn't expecting this so my take off sucked ***, he pulls half a car length ahead of me coming out of first and I power shifted and gained a little back, riding through second I get more back and going into thrid we are door to door... through third I get my bumper ahead of him and going into fourth i look to my left in time to see a cop going the other way... I slam on the brakes and qucikly turn into the mall parking lot... I saw the cop turn his lights on but he didn't come after me, guess he got the mustang.... I hate mustangs with a firey passion, my older brother is a mustang lover and has a 94 GT, at this point in time my front bumper is sitting at his back bumper, and his car is far from stock... I've beat him once, but that was in the hills, where there are lots of turns... in san antonio on thrusday we go to 1604 and bandera rd... that is where everyone races, usually about 150+ cars show up... on fridays it's nacodoches and 1604, same turn out there...and on sundays its SW military dr... usually 200+ cars there.... so I have many many many races under my belt, and I will go up against anything that pulls up on me, so I've got quite a few losses as well....

Yeah i agree mustangs are weak. I was driving past a gas station, with bi big loud exhaust and I caught the eye of a 93 5.0, All of a sudden he pulls up next to me at a stop sign on a residential rode. :0 We both burn, but i had a friend with me he beat me by a car length. THen my friend got out and i started off from 3000rpm. I burned him bad, by thge end of third gear i had three car lengths on him. HIs car had intake and little other stuff. I also burned a 97 gt stock, with a friend in my car, i whoop his ***. lol my car isn't even turbo.

He got a bad launch but it looks like he started to catch back up to you...

Also keep in mind 94-98's are slow with exception to the 96-98 cobras... they are much heavier than the 87-93 models...

I have seen 87-93 5 spds with gears and cold air run right at 13.9....

 

yeah he caught up at the end although i don't remember who actually won...... i would have assumed i was gonna get stomped because my gtu is so slow

I know most of the 93-up are pretty damn fast with a lot being HOLY**** fast.....

 

she ran 15.98, next year should be running 100% and running low 15's. my GTU is not a mustang contender though... my FD is. gonna be "hold on for dear life fast"

 

God i can't wait till my car gets that fast
