No, I didn't outrun one of them. That's usually the county sheriff cars. (3 times as a matter of fact) This time I got pulled for CRD (Careless & Reckless Driving) I decided to stop this time, only because there was a lot of traffic. Here's what happened... I was cruising along a highway @ about 55 (in a 35) and I come up on this slow *** car. Well, it stops dead in the road to wait on oncoming traffic to pass so he could make his left turn--without a turn signal! While he was waiting on the 2 cars to pass I seen a city cop pull off of the road that he was turning on to and started driving the opposite way I was going. Me, PISSED OFF @ THE WORLD because he didn't signal, waited on him to turn and launched my car at 7 grand. After smoking up the neighborhood through 1st, I continued through 2nd. Looked up in my rear view to find yet another cop pulling off of the same road, but instead turned my way. Geee, I wonder why he did that? Did it have something to do with the light on top of his car flashing? Well, I pulled on over, for a change. He was actually pretty cool about it, though. I got off the hook, but for 2 special reasons. (1)Army National Guard...I'd be in prison without them!!! (2)He said I already had 4 points on my licence and that he didn't want me to lose them. He ended up writing me up with a seat belt infraction, yet U will NEVER find me without my seat belt ON. The way I drive I need it. I coulda' took him!!!!......but I'm trying to straighten up.

Police down here don't have standard VX's though, they have upgraded ECU's and the lighter pursuit rims, plus other **** I can't quite remember at the mo.

Anyway if they get you license plate your focked anyway, wether you get away or not.

Plus, if your a country boy, the local cops would prolly know where you live and what you drive neway.

Even if you can outrun them, you do it and your forever watching your back for when they see you again. Thats not some **** they are gonna forget quick.

And Welcome.

Yeah, drifter, you're right. I live in the country and pretty much all of them know me and where I live. (Not for bad reasons, of corse.) And the license plate thing is true, too. Especially for me. My Guard plate has only 4 numbers on it, so they can see it and read it very easily. Hey, not familiar with the VX and VY talk. What is that all about? Is that something to do with the new Camaro cars? I know in the county next to me, they have a black twin turbo 300 Z D.A.R.E. car that was captured in a drug bust. I've heard of it being used in hot pursuit, but don't know how they stood up to it. Bottom line is.... DON'T DO IT!!!.... then U don't have to worry about it.
