Today I got really lucky:

Coming back from lunch I took my exit as my Valentine1 went off. I took the exit at my normal 80mph knowing the cop was coming in the opposite lane and knowing he would not get a read on me. At the endramp I accelerated to 120mph when I see a cop just cresting the exit, and seeing the V1 light up, I think I am busted. Slammed my brakes to 65mph and coasted to my next exit and the copper kept going...(Relief). I think he never got a speed reading off my car on his radar as he was too far and our cars are so small... Anyway, that's the way I see it, since I know I was speeding and am sure would be killed (ticketed) if he knew I was going that fast. : )



Any of you with similar close calls?

I do the same **** sometimes. Only when someone is screwing with me though. I have connection in my city now so I don;t worry about tickets. However I dont do 120!! Most was prolly 80 in a 50

Cop was coming on opposite direction of Hwy (according to V1). I exit South from my W Hwy and he ends up exiting South from his Eastbound Hwy. I never saw him until he was way behind me cresting the exit ramp.



If I knew he was going to exit I would not have taken my 7 to 120mph.

 

wouldve been funny if u did get the ticket and told us that u knew the cop was there

 

no kidding! I live in a rural area and the hwys are sometimes empty...except for the lurking state patrol.
