This was the best race I've had in about 2 months. I had my car down for some maitanence. Anyways here's the story. Saturday night I was out crusing with the guys and came upon a 944 turbo(late 80's/early90's). So I get next to him and cruise with him for a while. I can see he has an exh. but I don't relly think he is turbo. After riding next to him for a while he realizes that I want to play. So instead of giving me a fair chance, like a normal person, he sneaks me and gets about a car length on me. Now that I know he is turbo(heard it spool) i reel him in and hang with him until we could find a sutable intersection to go at it from. We finally get to one and we go at. We were slow enough to get into first gear. We both punched at the same time. My car got a little squirlly and so did his. That allowed me to get a half a car on him. We both hit 2nd at the same time but my car had more pull than his. I gained about a car on him and in third I really started to pull, but I had to let off for one of those damn Echos. Friggin tree huggers. I think I had him by about 3 cars when I let off. It was cool though. Ufortunately the guy wasn't to socialble since I beat him. I would've liked to talk to him. Oh well maybe I'll catch him this weekend.

Yeah they are. This one was really well kept from what I could see.

944.... a poor mans Porsche. there was a firefighter on base that had a nice on and claimed it was twin turbo. I asked him to race and he said only top end (to anson and back) and for a $1,000 dollars. His license plate read Rhino. I hope it wasn't him, cuz he's sucha bitch. He should be a staff by now. That'll teach them, to call our cars wanna be Porsche's. **** they can only wish they had our exhaust note.
