Well me and some of my friends are sitting at Sonic getting something to eat. Then one of our other friends pulls up he drives a 1st gen 240 with a completely rebuilt motor exauhst pretty much the whole deal. So we get to talking and decide to go see who is faster. We get on the highway and it is my three friends in a 3000GT, 240SX, and 300ZX, and me trying to keep up in my truck. They take off and the 3000 starts to pull on them and then the 240 starts pulling and takes off from there. He completely walks there ***. The 3000 has a base which is a factory freak. Intake, ehaust, light weight flywheel, nothing much he's just saveing up for a VR-4 engine swap. The 300 just has intake and exhaust, but he was having problems we had to pull it off the road the next day and change the water pump. But Chris the guy in the 240 sprays sometimes when he's happy. Later that night he took some chode who was cruising around in his mothers corvette, early 90's with an LS-1 or LT-1 which ever one came stock in that year. But Chris definetaly made him regret showing off in front of us. Completely walked his *** from the start. The vette started to pull in about 2nd and started to pass him so he hit that button and took off. It was pretty fun to wach, but just made me want to work harder and longer to save up for my FD.

 

ummm does this 240 have the original engine ka24 ? if so i dunno how it could beat a vette unless the guy didn't know to push the gas pedal. my old 87 audi coupe gt automatic was faster than my friends 90 240sx.....

 

yeah i raced one when my car was stock and beat it. All i could see where the chrome headers that exited on the passenger side spitting fire at me.

 

It has a ka24 in it but it is bored out with a more aggresive cam and all sorts of other **** done to it plus he was running on 75 shot of gas.

 

well I have raced an early 90's vette with the LT1 and well I walked him at 118mph maybe 120mph I dont race till one of us is ahead. At 135mph I shut down I had one car legnth on an LT1 powered 6 spd Vette.. I was happy enough....
