I was racing my brother last night at the strip and I had him by the like 3 cars until I hit third gear, then he took off and had my by five cars. I hit speeds of 135mph and couldnt catch up. We went for about 4 miles down the road. The shitty thing about it is he didnt even push his car, he only went up to like 5 grand while I was shifting at redline everytime and power shifting. But I dont feel all that bad cause my TII is stock w/ just a HKS air filter. And ,y brother has the racing chip, free flowing exhaust and downpipe and many others. About $3000 of upgrades. Once I do my downpipe and exhaust we'll see if im able to keep up with him a little better.

P.S My other freind who has a 85 bridgeport rx7 took him about 20 car lengths. So that made me feel a little better. And this time my brother was shifting at redline.

The 1.8T is a good engine. Tons of power potential. I was reading an article in SSC with intake, exhaust, and a chip they were pushing almost 200 rwhp.

Heh, I believe that would be 200 whp, not rwhp, unless Volkswagen went rear-drive...

Actually fwhp generally stands for flywheel hp as opposed to front-wheel hp. Not that it matters, I'm sure we all knew what you meant anyway.
