So since I wanted to modernaize my car a little here, I would like to remove the stock single din stereo and CD player and put in place a double din, indash 6.5-7" DVD/Navigation cd player for it here. Anyone have any good ideas or trials ?

I thought you were selling the car?

in dash navigation in a FD is a bit stupid in my opinion, get a nice stereo without DVD as well, law says you cant have a movie visable to the driver while underway

not like your going to be driving such long distances with the car.

Yah, I was gonna say tape a roadmap to your dash. It's a little less expensive.

I bought a Garmin M5 about 6 months ago. The GPS works great on it. It's a GPS in a pocket pc (PDA). I went with a handheld unit so I could take it with me everywhere instead of just having to take the same car. It really helped on my honeymoon to Hawaii. We just hooked it up in the rental car and it found everything we wanted and took us right to the front door of each place.
