whats a good indash navigation/stereo system for the FD?

So since I wanted to modernaize my car a little here, I would like to remove the stock single din stereo and CD player and put in place a double din, indash 6.5-7" DVD/Navigation cd player for it here. Anyone have any good ideas or trials ?

If you do, I got dibs on your lower din part thingy
its actually a CD player on that part for some reason. I have the two single din stereos in my FD I don't have a lower storage compartment for some reason

I thought you were selling the car?
in dash navigation in a FD is a bit stupid in my opinion, get a nice stereo without DVD as well, law says you cant have a movie visable to the driver while underway
not like your going to be driving such long distances with the car.

honestly what I would love to do is get a guage setup like the defi links, taht would display my datalogging on the Screen some how. I know the backs of these things have tons of inputs, so i wonder If i could get real time guage infomation on teh display to log after runs. That would be sooo nice

I bought a Garmin M5 about 6 months ago. The GPS works great on it. It's a GPS in a pocket pc (PDA). I went with a handheld unit so I could take it with me everywhere instead of just having to take the same car. It really helped on my honeymoon to Hawaii. We just hooked it up in the rental car and it found everything we wanted and took us right to the front door of each place.
