Thumbs up

Seppuku's brake caliper thread made me think of this.

I started working on installing all my fun new suspension stuff today on my TII, and I managed to get as far as taking the front lower control arms off, and barbeque'ing the bushings off in my driveway. I decided to shine 'em up a bit, and some engine degreaser and a wire brush did the trick quite nicely. However, they're now a bright aluminum/silvery color, which decidedly clashes with the little suspension color scheme I've got going: Eibach springs (black), AGX adjustables (red), ST stabilizers (grey), and Energy Suspension bushings (black). I was thinking about painting them black, especially since I'm really considering painting my brakes red, like Seppuku's.

I know it's not like anybody's going to really be able to see the damn control arms or anything, but I have them off, they don't need to be going back in anytime soon, so why not? I just wanna know what you guys think and stuff. Paint 'em black, or leave 'em shiny? ...Or don't care what they look like at all.

Edit: My car's red, btw.

Edit #2: Oh, and I have 17" OZ Superleggera light anthracite rims. Ya, I know. They're super hot.

if they're shiny now, they'll be black in a week... or maybe a month... don't bother with it...
