use a small flat head bolt, they sell totally flat ones

for boats, you lift them with your fingers to lift the hatch.

otherwise they sit flat.

the inside gets a little ring on it to hold it.

I cant seem to find a good pic of the other thing

I was talking about, it looks kind of like a

quarter when it sitting down,

but with no markings on it, and it sits flat,

you put your fingers under it and lift it up.
