Hey guys, I was just wondering if I could get your opinions/views on who makes the best radar/laser detectors. I'll be getting my FC soon and thats the first thing I'm going to need.

So list the brands and models you like/own and why.

I am selling a Passport 7500 in the parts for sale section. It is good but not the best. The Valentine One runs about $400. I just bought one. After having the 7500 and now the V-1 I have to say the V-1 is way more sensitive. I like the direction indicator as well as the bogey count.

But for $125 shipped the 7500 isn't too shabby. Shameless plug here folks

V-1 just saved me from a ticket this evening 90 in a 65. Freaking V-1 warned me about 1 1/2 miles before the speed trap. It is awesome.

In another spot I was getting radar but weak. I looked ahead and a trooper had a dude pulled over. Up ahead was another trooper with his lights out waiting. My indicator told me 2 bogeys so I stayed off the gas.

My wife was laughing at me because I was all excited when I saw 2 bogeys and 1 cop. Once I discovered the other cop I carrying on about how great the V-1 is. She doesn't understand.

I feel like I am driving with a force field around my car. Lovin it!!

Tell me where to find what version and I'll tell you. I can tell you I bought it 7 days ago from Valentine.

Then you have version 1.8 which is the newest version...

Do you think the 400$ is worth it?? or should i get a used one and upgrade it to version 1.8?

How much would a 95MPH in a 65MPH ticket cost?

How much can you get a used one for? and why would someone sell it anyway??
