the majority of these require welding. i had a link to cool one which didnt and also happened to be the perfect thickness to put the wheel in the stock location but the website is gone now.

I had one before, the CHEAP one, I wouldnt sell that thing to my WORST ENEMY

I think its nice. I never really took my steering wheel with me, but I stuck it behind the seat. I mean would you break into a car thinking or hoping the steering wheel is behind the seat (NOPE) its not worth the time and or effort and just move on.

I think its nice if your a big guy like me, or for a security device IMHO

I have a FET quick release steering wheel adapter. you can get em at www.group5motorsports.com or jspec.com 150 at g5 200 at jspec. this one works by having a collar that you rotate that locks the steering wheel in. I have heard that some of quick releases have some play in them which can be distract you while driving. I never kep my steering wheel on and don't have any play what so ever. it can be a little hard at times to take off but thats just because I have big amrs to get through the steering wheel spokes to slide the collar around the hub. I will take some pics when I get home.

For the record, as a CUSTOMER the FET one thats all black, has a blue arrow and a red arrow to tell you where it locks and has a small push button to unlock it is a

PIECE OF ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No offense in your case at all man. Mine fell apart on me when I way away from home, just button came off after it was unlocked, spring was gone, locking mech disenigrated and I was STUCK, the lock would not work or even think about being locked. I had to take the whole thing apart and THANK god I was at a buddies shop so he had tools and my BOSS kit was still in the trunk of my FD.

Sorry to say we will not and I dont suggest it till they do some SUPER revisions to it, I wouldnt wish a steering wheel coming off while driving on even my worst enemy.
