Yeah, the last free-air sub I bought was kinda weak. It was the pioneer deal and it ended up sounding maybe halfway decent after I put a bandpass enclosure over the top of the driver. It was gay.

A sealed enclosure is the way to go imo, then all you really need is enough juice out of the amp to make it sound clean. .67ft3 is nothing to make fit, even with the spare still in place.

you aint getting no sound regardless of sub in that thing when the top is down, so keep it simple
