Fixed my only complaint about my 2nd gen

The only thing I don't like about my 7 is the lack of a cupholder. Had some spare time over the last few days so I came up with this. Holds a regular can perfectly and still allows me to store my wallet in the center console.
It's 1/4 of an inch think, and recessed on the bottom to keep it light. It's a bit hard to tell in the pictures but the rotor shape actually stands up from the plate slightly (0.080" or 2mm). It's a friction fit but I also cut some grooves in the bottom to allow me to add support legs if I decide to. This one is just a mock up, I think I'll powder coat the final one to help prevent scratches in the aluminium.
And yes I know my car is dirty .... I just got it and with the 2 feet of snow on the ground I haven't been able to give her a good cleaning.

When I read the thread title, I just knew it was a cupholder, haha. Looks awesome!
Yea so did I, everytime someone mentions no cupholders I just say "it's got no back seat either"
